Speaker Bio
Terence Chambati is CEO and Co-founder of Huchi Capital, a conservation enterprise harnessing and conserving the impact and sweet returns of the African honey bees which are not only essential for food security but are a key part of ecological balance and diversity that most forms of life depend on through natural pollination. Combining his extensive marketing communications knowledge as an AdMan with data-driven decision making, they are bridging the information gap in the African apiculture sector by improving farmer yields and bee conservation awareness. Their HuchiHive Apiary Management Solution leverages the “Internet of Bees (IoB)” to deliver apiary management systems and data insights for an optimized apiculture value chain. Terence was part of the founding cohort, now alumni of the ALU School of Business MBA for Conservation Leaders.
